Located in New Mexico, SpiderRock Group stands out as one of the few
strategic advisory firms dedicated exclusively to assisting firms and organizations
in the American Southwest and Northwestern Mexico. The name was inspired by the prominent rock formation located in Canyon de
Chelly within the Navajo Nation. Arik and his team, driven by a deep appreciation
for Southwestern culture and history, chose to pay tribute to this significant
landmark which is situated on native land at the intersection of Arizona and New Mexico.
ARIK KOTKOWSKI BACA
Founder and Director of SpiderRock Group
Arik Kotkowski Baca, a border native, brings a unique global perspective and extensive professional experience to the table. His upbringing in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico and El Paso, Texas has endowed him with a deep understanding of international collaboration, cross-cultural dynamics, and the unique opportunities of our region.
Arik's quest for diverse international experiences has led him to innovative countries like Estonia and Israel, as well as manufacturing and engineering powerhouses like China and Germany. He currently resides in Mexico City and is fluent in seven languages, offering our firm a distinctive and diverse viewpoint.
His professional experiences range across five countries: cross-border logistics, economic development, local, national and international government, consulting, software, tech, and business operations. He has successfully rescued, revitalized, and founded companies in Mexico City where he currently resides; previously, while living in Germany, he advised many of the top Fortune 500 companies on managing risks, safeguarding investments, and succeeding in challenging environments.
